ABOUT AMERICAN POMSKY

My love for dogs began at a very young age. Growing up, our family always had a dog, and some of my fondest memories are of walking her in the backyard or curling up together on cold winter nights with a book and a bowl of popcorn. Dogs were, and still are, a central part of my life.

When I was 10, my parents brought home three Pomeranian females, and our home soon filled with the joyful energy of tiny fluffball puppies bouncing around. That early experience sparked a lifelong passion for raising these delightful little companions. At 21, I purchased my own Pomeranian male and female, and 21 years later, I continue to raise some of the most beautiful Pomeranian puppies with the same care and love I had as a child.

In 2014, a friend suggested I explore raising Pomskies after seeing my exceptional Pomeranian stud. After researching the breed, I instantly fell in love, and that marked the beginning of American Pomsky. Today, we are dedicated to breeding Pomsky puppies of exceptional quality, focusing on outstanding temperament, conformation, and—most importantly—health.

We are proud members of the International Pomsky Association and committed to providing families with healthy, happy, and loving Pomsky puppies. Thank you for considering American Pomsky, where every puppy is raised with care, love, and a lifelong dedication to the breed.

ABOUT OUR EXCEPTIONAL POMSKY ADULTS

At American Pomsky, we understand that raising high-quality puppies begins with having exceptional parents. That’s why every adult dog in our breeding program is carefully handpicked and thoroughly researched to ensure they are the perfect fit.

Our breeding journey began with F1 Pomsky puppies, the result of breeding a Pomeranian male to a Siberian Husky female. While F1 puppies are beautiful, controlling their size and color can be challenging. To provide more consistency and better meet the needs of families, we now focus exclusively on raising F2 Pomsky puppies.

We recognize that every family has different preferences, so our breeding program includes parent dogs ranging in size from 12 to 35 pounds. Eye color is also carefully considered: roughly 50% of our puppies have traditional dark eyes, while the other 50% have striking blue eyes. In terms of coat colors, most of our Pomskies are the classic black and white, with occasional cream puppies and the rare pure white.

Every puppy we raise is a result of careful planning, love, and dedication—ensuring you bring home a happy, healthy, and well-socialized companion.

MORE INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT THE POMSKY BREED.

The Pomsky is a stunning cross between a Siberian Husky and a Pomeranian, often called a “mini Husky” because it combines the Husky’s striking appearance with a smaller, more manageable size. This designer breed is relatively new, first intentionally bred in the early 2000s in the United States, making it one of the most modern additions to the dog world. Pomskies are known for their long lifespan of 12–15 years, making them loyal companions for many years. Highly intelligent and curious, they are playful, energetic, and enjoy mental challenges such as puzzle toys or agility games. With proper socialization, Pomskies are loving, loyal, and excellent with children, making them wonderful family dogs. Despite their smaller size, they are active and lively, requiring daily exercise and playtime to stay happy and healthy. Pomskies are also expressive and communicative, often using their faces and body language to show emotion, from playful “smiles” to mischievous looks that melt hearts. Because they are a hybrid breed, no two Pomskies are exactly alike, with each dog having a unique mix of size, markings, and personality traits.
